Buffy The Vampire Slayer (and Angel)
I was introduced to fanfiction by the BBC-messageboard on Buffy The Vampire Slayer; my first slash pairing was Angel/Spike. I love them even more when Buffy is in the mix. And the best part? It's totally canon. Thank you, Joss.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
But it wasn't until after I discovered the CSI-fandom that I really got into fanfiction. I'm a big fan of Nick/Greg (my OTP), because of the subtext-chemistry in canon (I'm a believer!). I also enjoy Nick/Gil and Greg/Gil and even Nick/Gil/Greg (OT3!). Smart guys are such a turn on:) CSI-recs & CSI-bookmarks & Picture of Nick & Greg

Harry Potter
I used to think books didn't need an addition, since we can already read what the characters are thinking. But when I found Harry Potter fanfiction I learned there is a lot more to tell about Remus/Sirius.

Most recently I crossed another line: RPS (real person slash). I had secretely read some CSI-RPS before, but always felt a little dirty. Not so much when I discovered CW-fanfic. I'm especially a fan of Jensen/Jared (J2).

I'm not looking for big adventures in fanfiction, a plot is nice, but an exploration of the (beginnings) of a relationship between the characters is sufficient. Life doesn't have a plot. Not that I know of anyway;)

Summary: AU. Jared and Jensen are college roommates. Six chapters about how their relationship started. Sneaky Sena occasionally adds awesome ficlets to what is now known as The Waiting 'verse.

Summary: Smallville-era!Jensen and Gilmore Girls-era!Jared meet at a party. They talk. They argue. They have sex. But do they have a future together? Dum-dum-dum. Exciting stuff. Eighteen (18!) parts.
Pre-SPN OTP' Verse

The College AU 'Verse by with_a_kay is also known as When You Care Enough to Hit Send and started with I'm Ready to Change My Facebook Relationship Status If You Are in which Senior Jensen hooks up with Freshman Jared at some Californian College (months after they had a hot 'n heavy encounter while Jailbait! Highschool!Jared was still checking out universities). The verse is not written in chronological order, but consists of several stand-alone snippets and fics with e-cards. You can choose to read in the order they were written or follow the guys on the timeline from year one in college to eternity. The author is still adding occassional timestamps to this everlasting universe with different povs. Rating up to R. Angsty Jensen + Bouncy Jared make an addictive combination: Masterpost!

I don't usually rec WIPs, but this is just too good a universe to ignore: This Is My Four Leaf Clover by sneaky-sena: Jared’s a barista, Jensen’s a cop, and neither one of them wants anything more than a purely physical relationship. Really. NC17. With character development even. Two part so far. Hot enough to read as stand alones.

CSI Forensics: From Out Of The Lab Awesome archive of all CSI fanfiction, conveniently divided into categories General-Ship Ahoy!-Slashed-Bitextual. Separated by series, so you can focus on the town/team of your preference (just Vegas for me, baby).

The Wonderful World Of MakeBelieve Archive An automated archive with loads of different CSI pairings in one big list. Worth a look.

CSI Slash LiveJournal-community for all CSI-slash-fanfiction. Used for x-posting by most of the fanfic-writers, so if you're only interested in one particular pairing, you're better off in your own community (see top-link for Nick/Greg;)

Whispered Words Fiction Resource Database Search Engine: browse through recommendations by fans or search for a specific fic or author. (previously this place also hosted the Fingerprints Gil/Nick Slash Archive, but sadly that site is gone.) Still plenty of fingerlicking good stuff to find here!

Gil/Nick Slash LiveJournal-community for Gil/Nick fanfiction (duh)

Oh No Nicky! This LiveJournal Community came together for comfort during and after the episode Grave Danger (Season 5 finale) and has been active ever since in offering a place for Nick-centered fanfic. Members also write the occasional recap and there is a huge pretty-picture archive.

Gil Loves Greg Ahw. LiveJournal-community for Gil/Greg fanfiction.

The CSI FanficAwards Links to nominees and winners since 2005. Very good place to discover (new) popular authors in fandom, who are not necessarily my favorites. But it's still a great community;)

I used to make frequent visits to loads of other CSI-LJ-communities -like LabRats and Favorite Vegas- but for your and my sanity, I only put active sites on this list. - You're welcome;)
